Aight this what im tryin 2 do.....i got a mo phatt module and im tryin 2 sample sounds out of it in 2 my mpc but since its midi i cant sample each sound directly from da mophatt so i trigger the its sounds through a midi keyboard and then sample them from the main outs of my mixer that have all my instruments connected 2. Problem is im hearin a lil bit of hiss on my samples. I got the gain on my mpc set in middle , and the volume on the mpc is on low. Or is the mixer ? Im using a beringer euro rack mx 602 , should i get a mackie instead ?

Cuz im gonna borrow other modules and i wanne have all them sounds at on a zip disk that i can load up quickly and easily at any plaze where a mpc is available.

connect the module out to the mpc sample input directly, the mixer will add some noise.

I always thought midi never transmitted audio and thats why a mixer is a required 2 listen to the sounds that are being triggered by a controller. But im gonna give it a shot and sample directly from the mophat while i trigger it wit my keyboard. Thanx ..Im still new 2 all this sampling shyt.

That's exactly what I do. Use the sampler for what it was made for. To SAMPLE.
