Does anyone know what keyboard this is?

Sorry if this is a bit off topic, I got ripped off on this auction for an 1K and a dude in poland got ripped off for a keyboard. It's a different one than in this picture, I wonder what kind it is and if the value is the same as the keyboard he was supposed to send...

Yea, a Korg MicroKORG Synthesizer. Can be used to make great basslines, I was thinking about getting one, myself, one day when my money looking right.

me too. i messed around with one for a bit at GC and loved its vintage sound. though its got smaller keys and fewer voices i think i want the microkorg over the micron. i take real good care of my gear and its the sound thats most important to me. i'm gonna test em both out again before i make my final decision abou it. i gonna try to get the same types of sounds out of the micron and if i can do that i'll go witht he micron but if not its the microkorg sound i want.

yeah thats a microkorg. i have one i realy love it. but i still havent realy worked with its midi capabilities. but it does bang out some realy warm bass sounds. vintage look vintage sounds. u can see it in my studio there

I have an ms2000 which is great. The microKorg has the same sound engine, you can't go wrong.

I was peepin the alesis micron... its the same price, and it has SO MANY more capabilities. I understand the microkorg has the warmth we need, and the vintage sound everyone loves... but the micron has some crazy features... 8 poly, 16 voices, vox w/mic, larger keys, something like 1000 sounds built in... some crazy 360 knobs that you can program. I dont know, look it up, my quotes might be slightly off... but its cuz I am excited about this. I seen it on ebay for 325... so check it out first!

to each their own. the 8 poly and 16 voices is attractive but i figure i could work around that with multitracking or some shit. if i was in the market for a sequencer i would want as many features as possible but since i got my 1k and i need a synth, i am focusing on the sound produced more than the features offered. but like i said i'm gonna test them both again before i buy and to each their own so we'll see what happens.

I heard a lot about the basslines on the micro korg. I have the Triton extreme. Does the Micro Korg have better basses than that?

I want to get a microkorg too. but everytime i have enough money i always forget about it.. But i shall get one..

yea the microkorg is kool........its got a cool vocoder.........get one used..........use a bigger midi controller and ta-da you can really express some ill basslines on this thing....how did you get ripped off in the auction?

for real it´s the microkorg, its a nice little thing, it uses predefined samples and as said b4 its a cool vocoder, well but i think it´s just a toy.

how long did you use it before you grew tired of it?
