help!

ok i got my mpc midi to a jv-880 and i'm trying to record but when i hit the rec it sats on the mpc waiting for midi to play ? what does that mean?

Your midi isn't setup correctly.

Describe how your trying to set your system up, or what your wanting to do..

sounds like you have your midi set to external synch, and the mpc is waiting for the midi signal to start. Use internal synch unless you are using another sequencer.
