Help with mbox 2 and mpc 1000 and yamaha keyboard

is there anybody on this forum that knows how to hook up all this shit to pro tools with the mbox 2. Before i had my midi hooked up to the keyboard and my stereo out from the mpc to a mixer and the outs on the yamaha to the mixer. then i have it sent out through the mixer out. How do i hook up this in pro tools i looked in the manual and it still sounds like something is hooked up wrong. Please help thanks. I was getting some luck running the digital out on mpc thru spdif.

i have da same setup and it sounds good to me
try having balanced cables at least from ur mixer to da mbox2 to cut some of the noise when ur trackin

alright i did exactly what you say. but now when i record in pro tools it plays loud when im tracking the stuff from my mpc. when i press play back in pro tools it plays it back low. whats up with that. And then if i mess with the mix nob it plays louder or suttin. what does that mix nob do. And its always peacking how can i stop that.

i think the mix knob adjusts the balance between the signal coming from the computer and the input signal, so if you adjust it fully to the side that is the computer's signal, you should be ok.
