Turning a 4/4 Sample n 2 a 3/4 Sample like the Heatmakerz do

Ok.... I have a 4/4 sample that would sound HOT with a 3/4 drum pattern.

But im confused as how to convert it into so.


All I know is, for that beatmaking video on the Smack DVD, the heatmakerz sampled an Intruders song...which is in 4/4,...but some how they turned it into 3/4......VERY confusing

Theres also a few songs that sample Marvin Gayes "Distant Lover" (which is 3/4) but the beats are 4/4....

So Im wondering how to do this in Propellerheads Recycle, or in the 2000XL.

What makes you think all these tracks are 3/4? They sound 4/4 to me. The beat heat makers did on smacked 4/4. Distant lovers is 4/4. Do u understand what 3/4 is?

They didn't play it in 3/4... It was in 4/4, but they played it with triplets... Set TC to "1/8 (3)" or "1/16 (3)" and play your hihat with note repat
