I have a mpc 1000 and a decent pc with acid music studio looking to get some synths either 1 program like native intruments or 2 micro korg any advice would help

Reason's a good starting block to get ideas down but the sounds are pretty weak compared to proper VSTis. Bass etc is ok but the strings, pianos, drums etc sound rpetty poor to me.

Get Microkorg you fool. Having your Mpc and Microkorg side by side hooked up midi is a great combo. I supper recomend it

Stonetrooper are you look to make any kind of music in particular eg funk hip hop techno etc. or are you on a wider beam?

Im also getting a line 6 ux2 port for guitar I used to play drums in a metal band also have bass, guitar, turntables experience. my buddy who is into rap who doesnt know hardly anything about music theory is investing in a studio for me because of my talent, only had mpc for 5 days and already bangin out some nice beats for him, he wants me to do reggeaton , r&b and hip hop. Im also gonna be producing dance,( trance , jungle )

sh101's better than the sh09, sh09 is one of the worst of the SH line.

but ya analog is good, but it matters really what yer looking for...
