HI all,
Does anyone know any techniques to creating a similiar Boomin Bass Beatz like Joe Buddens: Pump it Up or DMX Where my dogz at?
I wonder if these beatz are layered? or are there certain settings in mixing I can do on my MPC 4000 or Protools, Plugins to achieve that boomin bassy beatz?

Thanxs ya

On a bass sample I sometimes set the FILTER to 0
and the RESONANCE to 7. RESONANCE at 15 for a wild thumping bass (you might wanna turn the volume of that sample down a little when using 15 though)
