I have a drum kit thats 24 bit and for the majority of my devices that don't support this I want to make them all 16 bit - anyone know of a program that has easy batch conversion and sdaving process so I don't have to go through each individually?

Apparently the latest beta version of Audacity does this now. Google it, it's free too.

a lot fo the hi quality drum samples are at 24 bit now. I was interested in a set designed for NI's BATTERY and planned to convert it to 16bit for my MPC 1000 with dbpoweramp. Is that a major NO NO ? Will the audio quality noticeably suffer ?
