Whats up guys, just a quick question on cutting a sustaining loop on the MPC sequencer (ie stopping a loop playing on when you change bar/sequence) I have been used to doing this by simply placing a not at step 1 of the next sequence with a 0 velocity, I notice on the MPC the minimum velocity is 1 and even this plays at a noticeable volume? I have found a workaround as Im sequencing and outside device and nit the internal DRUM but would like info in this as its a bit of a hassle to do, thanks

Try setting up a blank pad to cut off the sample when triggered. I think that should do the business.

When i encounter this.. i usually change the sample to "note off" and then hold the pad down for as long as i need it to be.

There's probably a better way but this works.
