filtering out sounds

Quick question, is there any way to filter out all the sounds in a sample but the drums?

i dont think there is a complete way of filtering out all the noise, especially in the mpc, but you can filter out most of it,

go to param screen and use your fitlers there, if you hit the open window button it takes you to a sub filter use that to really change your sounds,

i you have soundforge or something similar you can make an inverse copy of your sample, layer that under the original and if done properly you should hear nothing at all as the two samples which perfectly cancel out ecah others phase, now you can low pass one of them and it will have theeffect of highpassing the sample...ridding you of bottom end...try it...
