Mo-Phatt and other soundfonts

I know there was a post where someone had a link to the Mo'Phatt soundfonts. Also, what was the other link where you could order various soundfonts? Thanks beforehand.

Since that's covered, the next thing I wanted to ask about soundfont players. I searched a read Dr. Foo raving about Vienna (which I've never heard of) and someone else mentioned Emagic EXSP24. Really, what I want to know is if any of these can run outside of a host environment. Also, which one has the most editing capabilities. Any opinions or insight will be greatly appreciated.

I believe Vienna is freeware, so you can just download it and see if it does what you need it to. No host application needed.

exsp24 is not standalone. I think Native Instruments Kontakt is standalone, it's a soft-sampler too, but i don't really like it. Try it for yourself.

But if you're on a pc you can use simple hosts like Chainer or Forte to run any vsti (or even effects) standalone.
Chainer has a really good free demo version, it won't save presets, but you don't really need that anyway.
