i feel like this is a bad move i mean the machines,weather mpc,sp,ect.
all ready have a swing feel.i guess what i mean is i use too just play my
drum manully,but now i just put a kick on the first beat and keep it that
way,i mean not knocking anyones way of creating a track but wouldn't you want to just learn how to program or have a knowledge of doing it that way.

Exactly what are you trying to get accomplished? Also are you aware of your T.Sign paramaters? This would be where you would change up how may beats in a bar. I've played with it a couple of times it's cool for authentic programing compared to the normal bar/song formats.
And when it comes down to editing makes it a lil easier to force a couple more notes in. Just takes a lot of practice. I know about the step edit function, don't really use either method but thought you guys might want a little insight on getting from Point A to Point B using a different route.
