layering bass

aight, i have a loop that i sampled, laid the first loop as the main beat, then resampled the same loop and did a low pass on it to use as the bassline, only problem is it phases, the original sample sounds a little better, but once its layered over the beat the bass levels are messed up, like it rises and falls and doesnt stay a constant level, what can i do to correct this?

try to copy thesample in thetrim screen and then low pass it , may the bass freq. is different, do you have the 8 outs , this happens to me also i just deal with it till i have to record.

Is it stereo or Mono... tryin running the bass loop in Mono...

Why not play a bass line in by hand... much more rewarding!
