bringing fade in and outs back to original level

aight i was wondering if you guys knew a way to bring the fade in and outs back upto the original level?

any tricks on cubase or cool edit whatever would be great.

Expalin what you are trying to do...bring the fades in and out aint really clear......Bring it in on what

when a track has had a fade in already done and u want to make that fade in not fade in and play at the same level as the rest of the track.

Use a sound editing program> Soundforge, Wavlab etc.......Highligt the section of the fad to the point at which the rest of the track is at a constant volume then try either a normalize or increase the volume..It will be a bit of hit and miss tho....You'l have to to mess with a bit a judge the results u get

What you have to bear in mind is the fact that a fade is made up of a steady increase / decrease so adding 1db for example is gonna affect different parts of the fade
