I have no problem filtering out the main melody of a sample and isolating the drums... What I have a real problem with is when I find a great sample but it's got some really thick drums that I can't filter out so I'm **** cause I refuse to just loop the samples and do nothing original with it... Any suggestions cause you guys are really up on your shit (I'm new to the forum but I've been following the tips for a while now)... I use Adobe Audition, Soundforge, and Wavelab... The one I'm most fluent in is Adobe Audition, but I keep getting told that SoundForge can do so much more... I personally can't grasp how to work half the shit in Soundforge, but maybe you guys can help from your experience... oNe
