MIDI map question

Hey there,

Does anyone know where I can go to get a midi map of the MPC Sampler, i.e. what the midi note assignment would be across all 8 pad banks, as well as any midi CC assignments that may exist. It would be helpful to know what it’s outputting midi wise, as well as what it’s able to receive and respond to from a daw. Would also like to know if the pads are assignable note wise or if they’re fixed in their note assignment.

The MPC Sample uses the standard 'chromatic C1' mapping used by all modern MPCs. It starts on note 36 (C1) on pad [A01] and continues chromatically from there until it reaches midi note 128 where it then jumps back to 0 until it reaches note 35 on pad [H16] .

There is no option to change this in the MPC Sample, but you can change it using the MPC Software or a full size standalone MPC and then (I assume) if you load this kit into the MPC Sample it will honour the new mapping (but I haven't tested this). To load MPC3 kits in the MPC Sample, create a 1 DRUM track project in MPC3, go to Load project in the MPC Sample, select this project but choose 'load kit',
