Sorry if this has been picked up in other threads. I’m new to the forum and couldn’t see anything similar after a quick scan through the post topics.
I don’t know about anyone else, but there still seems to be some fundamental bugs which need to be corrected in v1.4, whenever that lands:
Warping: with warping, the percentages are not fine enough (jumping a few percent at a time no matter how gentle the encoder is turned), so you can’t lock the warping exactly to the beat as the percentage you need is missing from the 1-100% range.
Distortion: I’ve noticed the kick drum distorts continually on nearly every project no matter how carefully the gain staging is set.
Very much needed features:
The Sample needs a step sequencer, desperately, with micro timing, as that events list thing is too limiting IMO.
Per track effects is also needed as having to resample (hard print) them to each track is quite restricting.
Side chain compression for all chanels would also be very welcome as the pumper effect thing is too inaccurate to act as a proper side chain.
Hopefully these points have been picked up by others before and Akai are working on them.
