It seems that when receiving MIDI Clock, the sample playback becomes distorted. It looks like there may be a bug in the MIDI input processing.

It also happens when syncing AND monitoring audio - I have the Sample connected to my. Mac via USB, Ableton Live audio output driver set to the Sample, also sending MIDI clock via USB.
When I play a drum loop from Live, and sync is ON, the audio is garbled. If I turn OFF MIDI clock, then the audio is clean.

I do have the distorted kick drum problem the whole time. In the preview they sound fine, once assigned to a pad, they have a crackled distorted sound to it.
The Level meter shows 2-3 green bars.
It’s kickdrums I’ve been using for a while on other MPCs as well. So I know the sounds are not the issue.
Anyone else with that problem?

Yes, I have the exact same problem. I noticed with kicks first and that caused me to pay attention to other places I might hear it.

I should have added that i I don’t use any external midi clock.
But I also tried to set Flexbeat Mix to 0 / dry, but the distorted kicks remain the same, unfortunately.
Thank you though!

I have the same issue. I can trigger a sample without any problems. As soon as it starts accepting midi sync and the play button is on, the sample starts to distort. I thought it was kicks first too but now I hear it on everything but it is more subtle if there is high-frequency material.

The bug makes the device unusable tbh as I cannot sync it to midi.

This has happened to me also. I thought maybe I changed back to internal and didn’t remember.

Another is:
When browsing, you back out of a folder, you get taken to the very top every time.
Very annoying when you aren’t taken back to the previous location in the list.

Anyone else get the spinning wheel, sometimes when you go to a pad with a long sample on it, a spinning wheel comes up for a few seconds before it shows the sample? Something I dont like too much is when you zoom in on a sample, and you bump a different pad, then go back to the sample you had zoomed in on, it’s not zoomed in anymore.

Yes, that's also an existing MPC3 bug, there's a couple of actions that can trigger, one of them is re-loading an existing sample

Bug: After connecting to a computer and dropping files onto the card, reorganising the 'MPC Samples > projects' folder on the card etc, any changes are not reflected in the load project screen. Reboot required, not sure if there's another way to refresh this without switching off or ejecting the card.
