No no! we want MODULAR CELLS for batteries. Built in batteries are stupid e-waste that make your object a pos in like 5 years or less. You know why gba is dope? cus i can pop the aa's out slap some fresh ones in while i got the others on charge.. no time missed playing and waiting for it to charge. Same with my microkorg. I love that it uses cells.

It's 2026, lithium rechargables exist.

using the battery while you charge the battery ruins the battery.

Because instead of making something more complex, they made something less complex. I really like simple and easy. It's why i got the mpc one and a mirokorg. It's pretty much all i use these days for production. Oh.. and a guitar.

ah crap double post. im tired i ment to combine but gapped out..

:-D I wear glasses now and I agree the buttons and knobs are too small :-D
What makes the MPC Sample unique is akai style layout and larger pads.. this will be huge sales wise..

I still think the Sample looks tacky and like a 3D printed figurine lol. But I was completely wrong about it not selling well because it seems like people are all about it lol.

Waiting on those features and specs….

I think it will have some hype for a month and then it floods the second hand market.

People will lose their minds when they realize it doesnt have plugins or cant transfer projects to their MPCxl or LIVE3 through Bluetooth. Also not having AI to create their samples and chops will be unacceptable.

surely we'll be able to hook up a controller with pads, or other (obsolete) MPC from our warehouse to counter the smaller pads, right?

Ah, yes, the user-must-suffer clause... It's in a lot of EULAs.
