You fellas know EULA / ToS arent legally binding contracts right?
A contract cannot be given after the sale. They must be clearly stated as terms of purchase. You must be fully aware of a contract during the time of exchange.
Ownership laws trump mostly everything. If you own it, you have the right to modify it.
People will argue with me about this until they are blue in the face. even AI admitted i was right and i don't have to adhear to any bullshit stipulations some nerd tries to sum up in a message like its a legal document.
Its just ancient nerd mind voodoo and it works.
There are very specific legal guidelines for contracts and tos and eula do not conform to those guidelines.
Here is an example.. say you buy a BMW with heated seat subscription but instead you just hard wire the seats with an after market harness and control system. That's your car. You can do that... you dont have to pay for the subscription from bmw. you have the right to defeat the pay wall. You didnt lisence the car, you arent renting it its yours if your name is on the ownership and registration. You can beat it to death with a baseball bat right? you can mod items that belong to you.
Your MPC's are the same way, you can smash it, open it up and unmount the chips and dump / reprogram them all you want. if the software on those chips doesnt suit you and you want to modify it. it's yours it was sold to you "as is."
ToS / EULA are designed to fear monger people out of trying.
I still own the original box for my MPC anyone ever tries to make an issue of it i will bring the box and ask where the EULA/ToS were stipulated and then give examples of how every previous sampler works out of the box without some idiotic after the fact message. I was unaware of any EULA on purchase that part is a fact. It's not advertised.
Yeah i got issues lol... I dont like being told what i can and cant do and none of you should either. I try so hard to influence people to just go for it because there is no trouble waiting only success and happiness.
