lol. Yeah this is going to be a massive resell item I think. There will be lots of complaints about missing features: AI, stem separation, mastering effect etc

Also I’m surprised the embargo wasn’t lifted today if it’s hitting the market tomorrow. But maybe the 24th was just the official embargo lift date and it’ll be available on the 26th like I was originally told…

24th will be all the hype and impulse ordering.. then they gonna see what the 90's sampling was about... then sell it stating exactly what you said..

I’m convinced only about 5% of 404 owners actually make music with them and the rest just have it because they think it makes them look cool. Making beats on the 404 can be fun but it’s tedious and I’m not convinced that the younger generation has the patience to use it to its full potential.

I have one and its a great effect unit but its almost counterintuitive to making beats lol. I hate it with a passion in that regard and o have plenty of experience with old samplers.

akai defo took heed to the k02 EP-133 success; presumably thats what caused them to scrap the mpc live mini plans.
Assuming the live mini rumours had any truth, we may never know but i recall the dude who started the rumour saying the protoype he saw was also completely different OS as per the mpc-sample.
