Updating firmware

My pc computer with windows 11 doesn't recognize my mpc sample, I tried my galaxy s23, and my iPad.... None of them will allow me to update the firmware...... I have no problem sampling from my phone via USB to the mpc sample, but can't update.... Am I missing something? Any ideas?

If you register your Sample with inMusic... you can also download an app that will do the firmware update locally.

There isn't *much* of a reason to register... it just nets you access to the app, and some free melodics content... which is probably some of the finger drumming courses... which could be handy for folks.

I couldn't update the Firmware on my Mac, only when I used another USB C cable did it work: the one provided didn't work (!). Maybe your issue?

I ended up putting it into update mode and I was able to download the firmware
