Pad FX plop when sequence loops

• Put a sample on a pad - a sustained note of something, closer to sin wav, so it's more prominient
• Lock Reverb on FX pad
• Set the sample to loop, play it
• Set a lowpass filter with high resonance, frequency where you can still hear the sample, but quite low (it's more prominent then)
• With the sequencer stopped, it plays through the reverb, no plops
• Now select an empty sequence (so that there are no other sounds), play the sequence. When it loops, there are plops. You can hear them better by repeatedly pressing play, so it restarts the sequence. Each time you press play, a plop occurs.

This may seem not much, but trying to do some ambient, subtle stuff, proves difficult! I hope Akai is monitoring this forum, and can do something about it.

You could try setting a small attack value, around 3–5. Also, when triggering it from a sequence, it's probably better to turn off Loop.

The sample isn't sequenced. The sequence is empty. But when the sequence restarts, that creates a plop in the sample that goes through the reverb
