Keyboard with MPC sample

Dont get how she connected the keyboard to the mpc using audio I/O instead of midi can anyone clarify how this works?

MPK Mini Play has buit in sounds so she's just routing the audio output of the play into the audio ins of the Sample. No MIDI involved.

ok did not know mpk keyboards was coming with sounds nowadays, cos i used to have an mpk mini and it was straight midi.

but shout out to dat aunty/granny she got some beats
