here's a tip for you bigg rome, you can take this one back to fp if you like:

you (and others) may have noticed on your cross fader simulation combinator in reason, that the level dropped away when the knob was towards the middle of its travel. the way to cure this is use two pan pots, put the left channel of sample1 into the left channel input on channel one of the mixer. next put the right channel of sample1 into the left channel of channel two of the mixer. now do the same for sample2, only this time plug the left/right channels into the right channels on the mixer inputs on channel one and two.

the reason for this is the pan pots act linearly, whereas the faders act in a logarithmic fashion, therefore dropping the level too quickly as you come away from full volume.

hope this hasn't been too complex to understand.

Thanks for the tip man. Preciate it. Do they let you post screen shots on this forum? I think those Dr. Rex's only have one output on the back. I did notice the drop in volume though. I think I may have found a use for that fader trick but I haven't made a song in about 2 weeks. I know there's something I can use it for.... maybe on a breakdown or something, just have a different beat finish out the 8th and 16th bar and kinda sorta fade in throughout the song.... YEAH! That's it.

I'll give that info a shot when I make an "official" video for that process. My sites not functional yet.

no probs, you can always just use one mixer channel for the dr rex.
