I have an idea to get your tunes among the people

I have this idea ... There are these forums where people give links to movies, music albums, applications, porn, etcetera..
Now I was thinking of making this (unreal, unreleased) album and put it on those forums to see if people dig it. Of course all mp3s will be in a very low bitrate. But then you can actualy see if your music is tasty or not. Because I think at soundclick and myspace (and especialy on forums as these), all the listeners are musicians or producers themself so they are not completely objective in their opinion about your music.

What do you fellow producers think of this? One of my friends came up with this idea. I think its a smart move for getting yourself out there... Dont you think?
You could also throw an album on K-a-z-aa but then you dont know how many peeps are digging it. On a forum people will say "thanks" and "good music, thank u" or whatnot

Also... ( Im thinking as I speak ).... You could register with different ID´s and say like: "this is promo stuff! peeps! i heared a dj play "this title" and i spoke to him and he said that there is a promo disk going around on the internet... This is it!! im so happy!!" ... or go like: oh, people check this out! great music here. Worth a listen!" ... ..cause monky see, monkey do... you know
