Unity Battle: Cappachino(FP) vs. EMFinite(MPC)

I didn't like either too much. EM's was cool but it sounded like 1990 and Capps just sounded like New Age music. Draw.

emfinite i dig the track. seems pretty easy to flow to. to be honest, i think i would have went with cappachino's track if it sounded like more was put into it. although emf's beats sounds pretty simple, it sounded more like a 'beat' to me.

simple? YES... as an emcee i LIKE my beats simple... not a big fan of change ups..

its was looped intentionally. its a new beat, and like any new beat i battle with on the net, i put up a basic loop.. thats what im comfortable with.. trust -- there is much more to this beat..

i did notice some cats going into their vaults to dig out some heat.. i didnt know we was rolling like that..

anyways, the battle is going good so far.. thanks for the votes..

i didnt like either, capp sounded like the sample just loops, and em's sounds underproduced.

Had to go with capp cause of the more catchy chorus emf sorry but the piano got anoying

first let me say this battle turned out better than i expected..

second, thanks for all the votes.. i know cappachino didnt really do much to his sample but clearly he has the better beat..

the beat i used was made in less than two days and was looped on purpose cuz thats how i get down.. im not the type of dude to put my ideas on the net only to have somebody take it.. cuz obviously its un copywritten work.. not saying that my beats are all that, but thats what im comfortable with..since i dont buy beats, almost every beat i make is a keeper.. obviously cuz your boy is an emcee.. and im cheap

like i said, there is muuch more to this beat.. for two days i think it came out ok. the chops are sloppy and needs tighten up among some other things.. when i put it up i took out the bass, strings, crashes, voice samples and a hook. and when i had those things in the beat the sloppy chops werent THAT noticble.. i also changed the the snare.. the beat sounds empty cuz i stripped it down.. i thought it sounded like a decent loop..but i guess not..

i dont know how catz put their uncopywritten work on the net like that with no worries.. do you embed something in your beats to make it come out a certain way if its recorded? or what?

all that said, i know when you come to a battle its all or nothing.. you have to bring your heat and leave the excuses home..

I didn't even hear EMs but I'm gonna vote for him anyway cause cap's was just awful! That smooth jazz sample had me turning the shit off I couldn't even listen to the whole thing. How are you going to come to a battle w/a trash beat like that?
