Damn. I really liked Dj-T's. That shit is soulful, man. More up my alley than nym's.

Both were well put together...but the main beat for DJ-T's shit was nice as flowers. I love that sample.

Good stuff, y'all.

mine goes to dj-t, nym's was good, but it was just lacking something, i cant pinpoint it, kinda soul-less. besides, dj-t's made me smile; gotta love a track that makes you do that. Its all good, tho i still dont understand why people battle, brings out the nasties in all a us.

nym took that easy, t's made no sense to these ears

could have done without the beatbox in nym's (lol at thin lipped white boy or whatever that comment was, you sounded out of breath dude) and the crash as someone else said was a bit off key, but the mix was tight, open, well balanced, nice stutter edits, good progression

t - god knows what you were up to, was it a joke?

He sampled Bobby Caldwell's "What you won't do for love"

Check it out. Easy to hear that he didn't flip it very original. I would be borred as hell if I was making music that way. He could at least have flipped a song that wasn't that well known.

You got skills NYM, but i still don't like the crash and the beatbox.

thanks for the props peeps me and nym ,we been so busy trying to battle each other, As for as Techinque Nym got me only because he had time to run filter sweeps, reverse, add effects, mix it down etc. Mine was a straight pick a song off the top of my head sample and chop. Now not to steer left but half the votes from most of you cats voting for nym, I've listen to your music, and I can see why you would vote for Nym.

PS: I voted for nym on Techinic, not from the soulful stand point,he took sometime into his track, I didn't Until. 8)

haha what are these, excuses? man...if i remember correctly you were the one posting around these parts "ready when you are" so i dont want to hear anything about the only reason i got you was because you didn't have the time...

anyway i got my plate full right now with spesh and a couple other challengers but here's the deal - you take your time and complete something you feel proud of and when you're ready we'll do this again.

YO, I'm not gonna name names, but a battle should not have any excuses. If it's not "done" or you didn't have time to really do the beat like you want, then don't battle.

If you guys do it again, you should make a rule: No excuses. It's pretty lame to take time to listen to cat's beats and then have them be like, "well it really wasn't finished."

C'mon, there's no excuses in battles.

^^^^^^ that was my thoughts exactly there should be no reason to explain a beat during a battle either its hot or not.
