What's up?
This is my first post so I'll introduce myself real quick: My name is JJEQ from the Oakland, CA based ILC Crew. I'm mainly a producer but I also MC and have been at it for about 12 years now. I have an MPC 2K with the 32MB expanded memory but I mostly use my 2K XL Studio Plus for production along with my turntables and MIDI gear.
ANYWAY: I produced a track which was entered into a local contest to win studio time with Kanye West but we decided to enter for the promotional value. The station sponsoring this contest plays commercial friendly music EXCLUSIVELY (which means the same 10 songs ALL GODDAMN DAY which sound basically the same) and we see this as an opportunity to bumrush the commercial "rap" machine.
