JDSY - Infinity

Hey!

I started a beat a week or so ago- then I stumbled across this recording of a FB friend of mine. It sounded like it might work as a sample for the track I started.


Turns out all I had to do with pitch her voice up one step- and it worked, and sounds pretty good I think.

I was into it until the vocal dropped... the ghostly effect lead in was great, but once it drops for me it isn't settling into the mix. I'd be curious what if taking it out of the middle part might tighten it up a bit...

Also, I like the strings, but I'd consider bouncing them down and chopping them up in some different sections, particularly the middle, this might also just settle the middle a bit with the vocals... as it stands it's pretty, and then it gets a bit repetitive.

Really cool though, definitely dig the vibe.
