Nothing like Beatnuts.

I like the quality of samples as a starting point.

I feel like you could have done alot more because the samples you chose is THERE and ready.

Not sure why it sounds like a Beatnuts joint to me.. probably the sparseness of it.

I usually go overboard with the samples, so I intentionally tried to keep it as simple as possible... I may revisit it.. but not sure yet. I may stick to the simplicity.

Sometimes that can workout as a benefit, overboard isn't a thing if you can work it.

Revisit it anyway, I sometimes hear other melodies and other different shit inside of a beat.
When that happens I'll mess with it for a few minutes to see if I'm feeling it, a beat from a beat.

I can hear the Beatnuts link...Take it or Squeeze it era kind of like that and a J-Zone joint mixed together. I like the bounce and simple drum work...def needs an MC to weave between those samples. keep it up peace!
