April 2021 - Track a Day

Another day, another track... it's a bit toasty, but had a blast putting this one together

Day 8... produced in Korg Gadget, played into an SP 303 for Vinyl effects... and recorded onto the MPC... though that hardly counts

Day 9... another track similar to yesterday... figured I should get back to working a bit in Korg Gadget to see where it takes me for a week.

Day 10... all the sounds went through some form of degradation... S950 and VX90 doing most of the work, but the SP 303 kicked in for a little more juice.

Fought with my MPC for too long and threw in the towel at this point...



The problem... I'm not sure what happened, but I accidentally hit solo, and then it filled the track list with 125'ish empty, but filled... tracks. To get things working again the way I wanted, I needed to delete all of the blank tracks without accidentally deleting the content that I had made. I am not really sure what happened here, but I at least kind of got the track back again.

So there's that.

Was kind of aiming for a disco track... but it's not really funky enough.

April 14th... still at it

Only had about 20 minutes today... was grooving, but life calls. Feels like a good middle of a song though.
