Every time I turn my MPC Key 61 on I play the default preset Awakening and think of how many MPC Key 61's that sound has sold ... it's so vibrant.
The whole song was done standalone then done in the MPC software mixed with thermal on the tracks and Waves GW MixCentric then mastered using Dolby.io.

I love my MPC Key 61 I've searched a few years for a workflow and tool as a songwriter to make songs without a focus on mechanics. I always looked at MPC more for beats but the new instruments are pretty world class and mix really well in the final product. I think it's too much to ever get an 88 weighted/graded with a crazy wide screen for editing that would be the best product on the market.

Cluster Bells for the melody
Heavier 808 for the bass
The Spirit for the strings
