Hey what's up MPC Forums!

Got a new tape, these are my newest tracks.

Sequenced on the MPC 1000 with effects from the SP 505, sampled from vinyl records.

If you dig it, you can follow me on Soundcloud & I'm @djhector.dig on IG

Hope you like what you hear!

Listening again, and just, dang, something for everyone in these tracks, but, not “all over the place”, not too busy.

Yo thanks again Lampdog!

I have made a new short track based on 5 dimension's 'House for sale' (unfortunately more relevent than ever today):

Cool track!

I found the cello sample first, looped 4 bars of it in 3/4 time (I think the sample was in 6/4) and copied the sequence to 16 bars. I believe I then found the 16th note guitar hits and sampled that in. Then I found the piano keys that kick in at :17, :30, and :40 seconds, respectively.

After that, I added in the atmospheric drone note sample at :51 seconds. I was looking for another atmospheric sample to throw on to build more suspense, which is when I added in the violin at 1:09, but the sequence got too busy, so i decided to mute some of the piano keys to make room for it.

Turned out to be a nice vibe change. I added a few more kick drums after that, the open hi hat, and the sub kick. I think the last thing I added was the synth buildups you hear at :51, 1:03, 1:26 and 1:38, respectively.

Really pleased that you like this song, not a lot of people like my weirdo vampire music haha
