Made some dance music on the MPC (high energy, 119BPM)

I am taking feedback on mix/sound/quality; that is one place my skills & gear are incredibly lacking.

- I can't mix for shit, need to start learning it
- Outboard gear kinda sucks
- Mix isn't "mastered" because I'm not at that point yet, still needs "glue", levels/dynamics under control

I basically dump a bunch of synths into my Mackie mixer, plug shitty Behringer compressors into the inserts, record into a digital mixer; I used some sort of "mastering" algorithm on the mixer this time when bouncing down.

MPC 1000 as sequencer & drum machine. For this one I probably had 3-4 "core" 8-bar sequences (verse, chorus, etc.) to dump into Song Mode and move around until I had a rough arrangement. Then it's kind of just copying & editing patterns to make slight variations, working on transitioning from one pattern to the next, adding fills & one shots. The synths are I used are basically the ones below in my sig that are the analog ones.
