Your other shit is much better, Digi. However, I don't see anything wrong with working at another technique. Have you ever tried samping drums from vinyl or cassette? It might round out your production a little more. Give your drums some rawness.

hmm.. don't know. it was maybe a little too much off, with a little practice it could sound a lot more better. then again some people like those kind of beats where everything sounds off.. i'd say try getting the best of both worlds, quantize some hits and play some hits freely.

i never quantize,it sucks any soul that you made the track with right out. i guess im crazy too. while im not necessarily a huge fan of this beat, its not bad either. 2.75. decent but personally not hearing that 'oh shit' factor. peace

Thanks for the feedback guys. The sloppy-drums stuff is still very unfamiliar territory for me.

One: Yeah, I need to get another turntable. My old one got destroyed by a falling shelf a long time ago...

I think you should use both meths. Those hats sound real good to me. The kick works but not as well.
