Welcome All


the beat is due sun july 22 2007 no later than 1200 oclock midnight
this gives you an 2 days to create a beat.

NO SAMPLES OF OTHER ARTISTS MUSIC.
(meaning you cant take a drum patter or melody and loop it and call it your beat)
ALL ORIGINAL COMPOSITION.
ANY GENRE YOU LIKE.
the beat should be no less than 3 minutes, no longer than 5.

so you can sample but you cant loop?
what about a vocal sample?

i think he means no sampling whatsoever. only original compositions by yourself

Whoever came up with the rules, thanks for the 5 minutes....I didn't even notice that when I did my track and I just had to flip a remix in the middle....By the time I did that, it was 5 minutes long!!!!

pretty sick beats ! really a hard decision but this time i'll go with LaJProd ! i was feelin his joint better but Gastons drums was a lot more bangin !! but the melody was kinda wicked ! so i guess thats what made me choose LaJProd !
