:!: Alright yal'l anybody who sells beats, offers production related services online needs to know this if you don't :!: (Anybody that utilizes your signature with a link to your own forum subject related site)

 This mpc forum site is a very well indexed major search engine friendly place.

 Look above at the pic of the registered users see the yahoo and google bots in there, they crawl through the forum and index the thread topics and index the links in the posts and in the signatures. What this does is associates the forum member's names and links with the information in the threads, which if asked in a forum, is most likely "searched for in search engines by people who are not exactely forum members but people seeking the information, that YOU shared, having your name and site address come up in the search engines associated with valuable information, services or products that "potential clients" are looking for, drives traffic to your site, builds your opt in mailing list etc.

 The number one rule is to make sure that you post informative threads and answer any question you can that may be related to your products and/or services offered but doing so WITHOUTstraight up offering those products or services in the thread. Links should be used only when directely helpful to the thread post.

 The forum benefits by having more information based threads and thread posts and you benefit by the search engine crawlers indexing you with all the different informaton you post.

 The other forum members asking the questions or reading the posts will benefit from the information given, however, your site will recieve more focused traffic.

 If this practice is followed by many forum posters the threads will get answered with the information being seeked which makes the threads more valuble and the forum members will generate more search engine traffic.

 A win win situation for both parties.

 I'm sharing this as odd as it may seem just to squash some of the negativity the comes thru these threads as anybody who conducts any kind of online recording/production business should have a :idea.

 Anybody without their own site or music biz can and will benefit from the informative thread posts and the negative people are gonna be negative regardless so doesn't matter.

 So make sure you post informative and helpful threads and answer any question posts that you know the answer to and don't forget to include your website url in your signature.....

 your site url will be indexed with the information that YOU yourself post and not by the comments that other members make whether good or bad. :!:

If he disables signatures I'm gone, signatures is the trade off for posting useful info in any thread on any forum.

read my posts dude, i answered people's questions that other people ignored

@tapuna If he( tutor disables signatures I'm gone, signatures is the trade off for posting useful info in any thread on any forum.

I have zero motivation for negative discussions or e-beef nonsense in forums posts as they offer no benefit to the forum or in the search engines. My motivation is only in answering technical questions about topics I have knowledge in and posting threads that contain useful information to hip hop recording artists, beat makers and producers. My benefit in doing so is the forum signature with web url that gets indexed with the relevant information I post. Any unanswered technical question on a forum like this is an opportunity to help the person asking as well as
get another linking to be indexed. There is NO motivation to post BS or direct advertising in a forum thread
.
.
.

There has been no advertising, I have followed the rules set forth by the site admin. I have only answered questions when I had something positive to contribute and have posted helpful, thoughtful material which helps the threads and is mutually good for me when the search engine yahoo/google bots crawl through to index the threads. This is extra incenctive to post often and as informative and on topic as possible while leaving the negative and extreme off topic discussions and/or negative posts to others. Also the more posts you have,(many in short time too) the more relevant your links are indexed by the search engine bots, though you gotta keep your posts informative and on the topics you deal with. If you yourself did not ask the thread question and don't need the info, just ignore the answer/thread or if you feel you yourself don't need info in a thread post, just ignore it, I only post what I know will be useful to at least some members.

I'm supporting POSITIVE informative threads, not negativity just as mpc tutor says to do, see below

,
"5. Think Before You Post!

A technical forum thrives on helpful, thoughtful and intelligent discussion. If someone asks a question, please only respond if you have something positive to contribute to the thread.

Thanks for reading and thanks to everyone who makes a valuable contribution to this MPC community, you are all very much appreciated.

Kind regards

MPC-Tutor"

Also, "services" that conflict with Tutors services on this site and MPC-SAMPLES.com
are not allowed to shine here unless authorized by Tutor himself. So don't post or advertise such things.

It's not advertising, it's answering questions and sharing useful information in exchange for the signature/link

here is an example that may help you understand it better.

let's say You yourself owned an mpc repair and mod shop

in your forum signature you would put your website address, your logo and a sentence about what you do.

your signature is the closest thing to advertising that you will do .

your goal will be to answer any questions about mpc repair and mods that you see. And post threads that will help people who want to know how to repair or mod their mpc. You might post a link to to show a visual aid of a repair or mod as it helps the thread but NEVER solicit business in the forums. Just answer questions and post useful threads on your topics of expertise and be detailed. Your sig is there if a forum member wants your url etc.

Your real benefit happens when search engine bot crawlers come thru and index the threads and the signature urls and names, this puts your info and your topics in the search engines and then when a random person does a search for " reparing or modding your mpc" after a while, your info will be what comes up and these search engine results andusers can read your posts, visit your site, maybe become your client, but see all you did was answer questions in the forum and post positive informative threads, no selling, no advertising, just the useful info and your signature, the search engine bots did the rest. The forums members get their questions answered along with rich useful thread content, and you get TARGETED website hits that may lead to business but at the least e-mail list subscribers.

It's an equal trade off your topic relevant info traded for sig link backs

There is no advertising of any services, only answering thread question posts asked and posting information filled threads like this one

http://www.mpc-forums.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=123634

only benefit to me is the signature link and later when the search engine bots roll through. The pdf in there is perfect for producers to give free to their beat buying clients sitewho may be recording their own vocals on the beats

You have made it clear that soundsets are a no no to post in here since clash with mpc sounds associated sister site.
