Its like 16 Levels for Pitch, but will spread a sample accross the 64 pads (or keys on a MIDI keyboard), and let you save it as a completely seperate pgm file. Useful for f**king with strings and stuff when you don't mind getting some strange effects but want to play a melody with a sample.

i dont have the manual........so autochromatic is basically.. to set pitchof a sample onto 64 pads..........but can u just set the sample inot 16 pads..isnt that much easier..?

16 levels doesn't allow you to play the sample across a keyboard or transmit the midi data the same as auto chromatic.
