SORRY FOR THE TROUBLE, BUT COULD SOMEONE ASSIST ME.
I THINK I READ ON THE FORUM NOT SO LONG AGO THAT THERE IS A WAY TO MAKE THE DATA WHEEL BROWSE FASTER THROUGH THE SAMPLES LIST IN PROGRAM MODE BY HOLDING A BUTTON OR SOMETHING.

I LIKE TO FIND ALL THE SAMPLES I FIND INTERESTING ON MY SAMPLE CD AND TRANSFER IT WITH 4 SAMPLES TO EACH PAD ( THE MAX) AND THEN SET THEM TO CLEAR..BECAUSE THE SAMPLES WILL STILL BE IN THE MPC1000.
THE PROGRAM CREATOR ONLY LETS YOU TRANSFER 1 BANK SO THIS WAY YOU CAN PROBABLY HAVE ALL 4 FILLED WITH SOUNDS.

AGAIN...WHAT I NEED TO KNOW IS HOW TO MAKE THE DATA WHEEL BROWSE FASTER THROUGH THE SAMPLES LIST IN PROGRAM MODE.
ALSO, IS THERE ANY WAY TO ENTER THE NAME MANUALLY?
THANKS IN ADVANCE.

I don´t know about the data wheel going faster, i never done it, but to enter a name manually open the window of the track/program/sequence you want to name, scroll the data wheel one time and you will go to manual mode, type the letters using the pads and press enter.
Another thing, don´t type in CAPITAL letters cause people think you´re shouting.
