do you have any pictures how the side panels are attached? i´d like to customize them, but for now don´t want to void my warranty, so i cannot open my own box...

Hey stilo, did you notice any way to mod the data wheel so it doesn't make that awful fukking noise?

You don't have to open the unit actually. Just remove the two screws at each sides, and pull the sidepanels forward. Then they can be taken off.

And yes, you don't have to open anything that is irreversible, like a seal or something, so nobody can tell it was open...

I don't know, you would have to somehow open that sheet metal casing which is shown in one of the pictures. Maybe you could modify something then. But that would most definitely void your warranty. And given that I'm quite comfortable with the feel of the wheel, I wouldn't attempt that myself.

It's right above the white connector that looks like an IDE connector in the second pic. The chip is already installed here. But you can access that also through the small hatch on the bottom, without having to open the whole box!
