just wondering if this is possible, i can barely hear the one on the 1000 .

I don't beleive you can but what I like to do is have a blank sequence with one track devoted to a high hat or similar sound already recorded and then you can just copy it to whatever sequence you are starting and use that as a click. This way you can have it strictly time corrected to what ever note value you like or in some cases even have some swing on it etc.
