Post your views and questions about the Akai MPC2500

I use my 2500 as the master inmy setup. I have 2 sound modules hook to my midi outs a & b. I also use my computer as a module its hooked up to my midi out c on the 2500. I have a m audio fw 410 which is my interface... When i record midi on the mpc and mute that track it stil plays partial notes which means i cant track my music on my mpc... Please help!!!

Turn off continuous sample track....that should do the trick

Thanks for the help it was actually the mute/stop of the one shot sample it needed to be set to: through... I had it set to: immediate. You really helped because you pointed me in the right direction thanks...

That was going to be the next suggestion. The settings in this menu can/will have an impact on certain MIDI functions. If you turn on continuos sample track, it will produce some of these issues. There is an older thread outlining these issues.

I know I'm a newbe on the site i tried to search it but had trouble finding a thread on that issue... Any search suggestion for the future...

Honestly I can't because I seldom use search..mainly because I spend too much time in the forums :D
