Ok...so having OWNED an MPC2000XL, (and having to sell it due to previous financial troubles) I am now looking at the more REASONABLY priced alternative, the MPC1000. However, I am a bit concerned having heard that a few key features (and please DO correct me if I am misinformed) like Time-Stretching, Reversing Samples, etc. are NOT available on the MPC1000. I'm just curious as to what KEY features I would be lacking and/or missing in comparison the MPC2000XL. (Just as an FYI, my MPC2000XL was loaded with the 8-Outs and the Effects Board.) I don't mind less outputs, but I'm wondering how the effects compare as well? Any feedback from current professionals/users would be GREATLY appreciated...
thanks,

P.S. Not that it matters, but I work primarily on Electronic-Bass Music (for those who might be familiar...let's say similar but NOT exactly Dynamix II stee-lo.) Alot of the material I work on has a heavy influence from older "Miami-Bass" music.
