Has anyone seen any other kind of stand that could work?

This says that it's built specifically for the yamaha DS55 do you know if the 1000 would fit in there for sure?

I don't think it would as the shape of the DS55 is totally different from the 1000. i know it cost more, but I would go with the stand that I mentioned above.
