recording track mutes?!

Hey...i clocked how to do this yesterday but tried again today and cant work it out!?!

I want to record the track mutes into the sequence...I have enabled 'record mix changes' in the 'mixer' window, but when i press record and record my track mutes, they don't play back.....

Also...i spent ages yesterday reassigning the pad to note numbers in the midi/sync screen, but after i powered down, these wernt saved - is there a way to reassisgn and save them as a default setting (so i can play my modules chromatically via midi on the pads)...

...which os are you running? they fixed some issues with track mutes in os 1.22.
save your rearranged pad to midi note numbers, and all the other little adjustments you like to have when you power on the mpc, to a project via the "save entire memory" feature. then make this folder your autoload folder.

yeah runnin 1.22...

cheers for the help...the MP crashed soon after so maybe after a re-boot it'll sort itself out - as i said i clocked it yesterday
