The white background is too bright, IMO. Cool blue all the way.

hmm. i ordered the leds and am planning to change them out myself. maybe ill ask my friend who is an electronics whiz to make it so i can dim them or even just make them half as bright somehow.

now that i have taken the display apart, i see that changing the LEDs will be impossible. i think ill just leave it green. greens not so bad! its what you do with it anyway.

I have no soldering experience at all and was able to get the blue LED's in my 1000. I looked for info on "how to" and got it done in about 40 minutes. I changed the four green LED's A-D and the green q-link LED's. I think you should give it a try.

the leds im talking about are actually inside the screen assembly burried beneath parts that dont look like they wanna come off nice and easy. but you know i already ordered the white leds so i may just do that.
