I usually setup MIDI tracks on the first 16 and use a Drum program on 17 and send everything to Pro Tools. I have my drum program so all 4 banks are filled, so there are 64 sounds loaded.

Everything works fine until I save and reload. When I go back and load, not every sound is loaded. This time, only the sounds for Pad Bank A loaded even though all sounds are on the flash card. When I check the program for pads that aren't responding, they look like this: ?Kick14 instead of Kick14 and ?Snare22 instead of Snare22.

If I want, I can go and load these sounds and assign them to the same pads, which is a huge pain in the ass. Has anybody else had this problem? Is there a solution?

Hope I am being clear. Thanks.

after you reload everything back, go ahead and save the program again but replace all of the samples and do this on a different card... also re save the sequence and replace everything ...if that doesn't work go and mount it to ur computer and analyze what files are saved to the problematic CF card. You may have had two different versions of the same program when you load it to sequence it is looking for samples that are assigned to pads in the other program. I would recreate the program and update the sequence with the new program and save....... when u come back everything should be in place!

Thanks for the help. I actually figured something out tho.

When I created something new, I always mount and save the old music to the computer. When I save the new music I'm working on, I just do Save Entire Memory.

When I come back to it to load, I would load Project01. That is what hasn't been working right. Sometimes it does, others it doesn't. Everything loads fine if I load Program01 and ALL_SEQS&SONGS individually.

Thanks again for the suggestion.
