Motif ES6, MPC1000, Yamaha 01X and Sonar 3.1.1....

Does anyone know how I would incorporate the MPC1000 into this setup? I have the MPC1000 hooked up to my Motif ES via MIDI cables and all is good there. My question is how would I record the audio once I have everything sequenced the way I want? I want to record seperate tracks for everything. For example, kick= track 1, snare= track 2, hi hat= track 3 and so on....

How can I used the assignable outputs to achieve this? Any help would be great. Thank,

Use Seq Edit to move your sounds into different tracks.
Use the Mixer to assign the tracks to different outputs.

Thanks for the information... I actually read pg. 26 and 67 but I had no luck. I assign a pad to output on assignable out 1/2 but I get no sound threw my mixer or in my software. Before I do the assigning I have sound but afterwards I dont. What should I look for to fix this?

Anyone know why I am not getting audio out of my MPC1000 fromthe assignable outs? I went to the mixer page and told the tracks I wanted to go out of the 1/2 assignable ports and plugged the rca cables from the MPC to my mixer but I am still getting no audio... Why could this be?

it's not tracks, its pads, and it is by program, so each program has a different assignment.

Follow along the manual step by step and you should get it.
