Can you give a lil bit more detail, also what all parameters can you actually edit this way, Thanks SCD

You can add any parameter that way, except the ones that make no sense (which are very little), like the low and high key of a keygroup for instance.
It's a neat feature that saves a lot of time 8)

What Jauly describes above is true, but only in program mode. In keygroup mode, you can not deselect keygroups (which makes sense again).

You have to play around with it to fully appreciate it :)

Instances:
you have a keygroup program with the same sample in two layers.
With all keygroups selected it is very simple to pan one layer left, the other right, detune the second layer a little a voila: fat sounding program.

Make all samples one shot or not. (handy when important dry wav files, or samples from a third party sampler which program settings are not supported ).

Put a filter on all samples in a (keygroup) program.

Etc. etc.

Set one or more modulation routings on all samples in a (keygroup) program.

Set your amp envelope for all samples in a keygroup (program)

All in all it is a great way to make main settings on your (keygroup)program. After that you can finetune levels, pitch etc per pad/keygroup.

Jauly wrote:Yes, with MULTII PAD EDITING. You can select the pads which have to be edited at the same time.
In PROGRAM MODE, select the pad number field (A01, etc., on the far left side beside the 4 layers) to "MULTI".
All pads are selected now at the same time. If you want to specify what pads should be edited, you can press the WINDOW button and press the pads you wish to exclude from editing.

Thanks Jauly...

Indeed. Does it work from the UK?

Akai Europe should offer those samples too.

Those sounds are available for free and has been for about years now. There are two packages- both free and public domain. One has 60 kits (aprox. 130MB zipped) and the other is is the full library called "200 Drum Machines". I want to stress that these are not commercial products.

I suspect that because the sale of public domain material is prohibited in many markets the download sales are restricted to the US only. There's no other explanation from what I can tell. Save your $20 and be little more resourceful.

KB6 has also always carried these sounds and new kits are added constantly by members. They do ask for donations but it won't cost you $20 and you know exactly what you getting.

Nice!!!

It is only available in the US... ???

The sounds are great but that is disappointing if non-US customers can't download them. (On a side note, being that I am in Japan, I can't pay for and download some products at Amazon's website). Have your tried Akai's other international websites?
